Inventory Alerts
Drift, overdue counts, forecast low stock, and POS variance signals, acknowledge and resolve from one inbox.
Inventory alerts surface exceptions before they become stockouts or audit surprises. Each alert has a type, severity, optional item and location scope, and a deduplication key so the same condition does not spam your inbox.
Alerts live under Inventory → Alerts. Viewing requires
inventory-alerts:view; acknowledging requires
inventory-alerts:acknowledge. Critical alerts show a badge on the sidebar
link.

Acknowledging alerts
Open an alert to read the message and metadata (expected vs. counted quantities, item name, location, dedupe context). Acknowledge when the issue is understood or resolved. Acknowledged alerts leave the active queue but remain in history for audit.
Email notifications go to addresses configured on stock taking policy when new critical or warning alerts are created.
