POS Hub & Shifts
The terminal home screen, shift status, fulfillment entry, satellite orders, lock, no-sale drawer pops, recall shortcut, and stock count access.
The Hub is the POS home screen after PIN entry. From here you check whether trading is open, start take-out or delivery, recall orders, lock the terminal, and open a stock count when one is running.
Shift status
Shift availability depends on terminal type:

A location with multiple Base registers can have several open shifts at once (one per drawer). Satellites do not care which Base opened first. They only need at least one open shift at the venue.
- Open shift: Take-out and delivery buttons are active.
- No open shift: Order entry is blocked until a manager opens a shift on a Base register at the location (see Shifts).
The header shift badge shows the same status anywhere in the app: No shift or Shift open.
Starting and ending shifts
Managers on Base registers open and close shifts from the header badge. Tap No shift to open, or Shift open to close. Opening asks for the starting cash float; closing walks through a drawer count. Each Base register keeps its own shift; opening a second drawer at the same location does not close or replace the first.
Satellite terminals never open or close shifts. They mirror location trading status: when any Base shift is open, the hub shows trading as available and save flows are enabled.

The stock count card is hidden when no session is active. While the hub checks session status, a lightweight placeholder appears; if the check fails, a short error state is shown instead of the card.
Satellite orders on Base registers
When floor staff save tabs on Satellite handhelds, those orders do not carry a shift until a Base register settles them. On a Base terminal, the Satellite orders hub card is the fastest path to that queue, it opens Recall with only pending satellite orders visible.
From there, cashiers settle payment as usual. The sale joins the Base register's active shift and drawer summary at closeout.

Lock terminal
Tap Lock terminal on the hub to clear the signed-in operator and return to the PIN screen. The device stays paired, so the next cashier only needs their PIN.
No-sale drawer pop
When a receipt printer or standalone cash drawer is configured in terminal settings, the No sale card kicks the drawer open without ringing a sale. Any operator can use it while a shift is open, it does not require a manager PIN.
If no drawer is paired, the card is hidden entirely.
Stock count entry
When a count session is open for the terminal's location, the hub surfaces a Stock count shortcut. Tap through to the floor count screen.
If no session is active, navigating to the count screen shows a message that back office must start one first.
Stock drift warnings
When quantity records look out of date, a notification bar may appear: Stock records likely out of date. Managers can mark it Reviewed. You can also check dashboard Alerts after correcting counts.
Command bar
Use Hub in the command bar to return here from Order, Recall, or Menu Board without losing shift context.
